TERMS AND CONDITIONS

You must read and agree to the terms below before voting in the Blue Mountains Grammar School 2021 Art and Design People’s Choice Award. 

Introduction

You are invited to vote for your favourite visual artwork, or design and technology (timber) work or design and technology project (“Work or Project”) in the Blue Mountains Grammar School 2021 Art and Design People’s Choice Award (“the Award”). 


The Work or Project with the largest number of votes will be the recipient of the Award. 


Information on how to enter, prize details and other written information provided by Blue Mountains Grammar School (“the School”) form part of these Terms and Conditions.

 

By voting for your favourite Work or Project you are bound by the terms and conditions. 


In the event of any dispute regarding the Terms and Conditions, the decision of the School will be final.

No correspondence will be entered into by the School in relation to the result.

 

Who can enter

Voting is open to anyone over the age of 18 years of age as at 25 November, 2021. 


If you are under 18 years of age, you must have parental/guardian approval to participate. Your parent/guardian must read and consent to these Terms and Conditions.

 

How to VOTE

Voting opens at 9.00am (AEST) on 8 December and closes at 5.00pm (AEST) on 27 December 2021 (‘Competition Period’).

You can vote:
 

•    online, via the Art and Design Award Website. 
•    via the QR Code in the program or on signage at the Art and Design Gallery. 

 

You may vote once.


Your vote will be deemed invalid if any of the following apply:
•    it does not comply with these Terms and Conditions, or
•    it is incomplete or indecipherable.

 

The School reserves the right, at any time, to verify your details (including your identity) and to disqualify you if you tamper with the voting process.  Failure by the School to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

 

There is no cost to vote however internet connection and usage rates may apply.  You should obtain details of such costs from your service providers.  The School is not and will not be liable for any such costs.

Winner's Announcement

The winner of the People's Choice Award will be announced on 29 December 2021.

 

Privacy Protection Notice

Purpose of collection: The School will collect the personal information of individuals who vote for their favourite work or project during the competition period to be able to notify voters of the Winner of the Award.
